Meet Katie

**I love helping parents prepare for a new baby by reducing the chaos and simplifying their baby planning journey.**

I'm a big believer that every parent deserves as much support as possible before this huge life change. There’s so much information out there about birth, newborn care, and breastfeeding but what about everything else?! When I became a Mom, I saw a huge opportunity to help parents prepare their LIVES for this tremendous change.

The Baby Planner Guiding Principles

Keep it simple: minimize the clutter to help you relax.
Safety first: We stay up to date on what the AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) recommends, the latest recalls, and consumer product safety reports so you can make the best, informed, decisions for your family.
Research research research: We obsess over baby products and only recommend products or resources that are tried, tested, or heavily researched by our team and our large community of parents.
There is no one-size-fits-all solution: every family will have different needs, styles, beliefs, and convictions. Our job is to guide you and flow with your unique family - not to convince you of any one way to do things. We understand why families choose the wide variety of options they do and work with you to fit solutions within your areas of comfort.
Inclusion without judgment: every family looks different and we truly value working with a diverse client base and strive for inclusivity. TBP is LGBTQ+ friendly. All races, religions, and political affiliations are welcome. All parenting styles and concepts are welcome. Parenting is universal!

That being said, we also strive for simplicity and are conscious of finances, and use everything in our arsenal to help you make informed choices.

Skills & Experience

Throughout my school days and beyond I was a babysitter, nanny, after-school teacher, and night nanny. I spent 12 years of my professional career in Management Consulting specializing in change management and transformational program strategies. Combining those skills I am now a professional maternity concierge and baby planner!

Motivation

I am married and a mom to an energetic 3-year-old and a golden retriever. I have a large, modern family with half and step-siblings and 14 nieces and nephews.

Home and Travel

I’m born and raised in Atlanta, GA, where I currently live. But I have traveled the world and have also lived in Charleston, Spain, and London.
